Best Circuit Design App Ios
Found this great app for circuit design and simulation for the iPad the other day. It has a lot of components (even Arduino). It also has a built-in scope and meter. Costs $9.99 but at least no subscription BS. (iCircuit)

Of course it's not perfect. The scope sometimes stops working so you have to close and reopen your circuit. Also sometimes the auto wiring is a little weird and you have to redo-it yourself. It's also a little difficult to rotate objects (the apple pencil makes it better though), and some parts of the interface are really intuitive. But overall I think it's a pretty decent software for some simple to intermediate circuit design and simulation (I would say for most hobbyist level).

This would have been great about a few months back when I was starting off my electronics course lmao. Seems pretty good nonetheless.

This would have been great back when I got my BSEE.... Thinking about making the purchase because I want my son to understand this stuff. He likes to tinker with Arduino and Raspberry Pi.

I haven't really tested much of its Arduino functionalities, but for people learning circuits it's pretty good to test simple circuits, see how they work interactively, make measurements, change stuff on the fly quickly and easily etc. $9.99 is a little steep though, I wish it had some kind of trial before buying. I watched some youtube videos before pulling the trigger so this may also help you to see if it's worth it for you to buy it.

The app is pretty good but are there more component libraries you can add? Trying to make a circuit with an MPU6050 and not sure how to add things that are not included in the default libraries.
